Time of Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. AE22 (7.86g, 12h). Nicomedes, magistrate. KAIΣAPEΩN, radiate head of Helios right / NIKO below horses, MHΔHΣ in exergue, Nike, holding reins in left hand and palm in right, driving biga right. Good VF, black-green patina with lighter green overtones. Extremely rare. Ex Villemur Coll.; ex Hirsch 195 (5/1997), lot 387.
