Thyateira (AD 222) AE 26 - Severus Alexander

Severus Alexander, as Caesar, 222 AD. AE26 (6.74g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΘVA T[ЄI]P HNΩN, Athena standing left, holding phiale and spear; shield leaning against spear. Good VF, dark green patina with traces of earthen encrustation. Apparently unique reverse legend variety of an extremely rare provincial Caesar issue. From Group CEM.
