Elagabalus, 218-222 AD. AE46 - Medallion (47.47g, 6h). Tiberius Claudius Stratonicianus, magistrate. AVT KAI M AVP ANTΩNЄINOC, laureate and cuirassed bust right, slight drapery; gorgoneion on breastplate / ЄΠI CTP T KΛ ΣTPATONЄIKIA/NOV/ ΘVATЄIPH/NΩN, emperor, wearing military attire, standing right, facing Apollo standing left, wearing chlamys and holding labrys, the two supporting a prize urn below ΠVΘ/IA; lighted altar between figures. Good VF, mostly reddish-brown patina with a few spots of green, very minor doubling on reverse figure of Elagabalus. Extremely rare.
