Teos (BC 204-190) Diobol

ca 204-190 BC. AR Diobol (10mm, 0.78g). Head of young Dionysos right, wearing ivy-wreath / Grape bunch. Unpublished. Good VF, darkly toned, light marks. Extremely rare.

This coin appears to be from the same issue as Kinnsâ€™ Period III hemidrachms of Teos (See P. Kinns, Studies in the coinage of Ionia: Erythrae, Teos, Lebedus, Colophon, c. 400-30 BC).
