Antinous, favorite of Hadrian, died 130 AD. AE40 - Medallion (46.55g, 12h), Polemon, magistrate. ANTINOOC HRΩC, bare head right / ΠΟΛΕΜΩΝ ΑΝΕΘ ΗΚΕ CΜΥPΝΑΙΟC, prow of galley right. VF, dark brown patina, some smoothing on reverse. Ex Dowdy Coll.; ex Sternberg 11 (11/1981), lot 283.
