Pergamon (AD 198-217) AE 44 - Caracalla

Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE44 - Medallion (50.67g, 6h). Julius Anthimus, strategus. Struck 215-217 AD. Laureate and cuirassed bust right; cuirass decorated with aegis / Caracalla on horseback right, preparing to spear lion below, crouching left. VF, dark green patina, minor smoothing and traces of details enhanced. Very rare.
